When Prince Brad announces he’s holding a Mirror Ball, Cinderella goes on a journey of discovery to find her perfect ‘thing’ to take to the ball! Encouraged by her good friend Buttons, Cinderella tries making things, playing sports with the winning obsessed Darcy Dribble and even cooks some pumpkin soup with the city chefs.
But when all of her attempts are sabotaged by Darcy Dribble, Cinderella decides not to go to the ball and ends up at the corner shop where the local shopkeepers have a magical surprise in store! They’re her fairy godparents. The fairy godparents conjure up a pumpkin carriage from their pumpkin display and transform Cinderella’s clothes into a party dress and present her with a golden microphone so she can sing at the Prince’s Mirror Ball! Believing that magic has given her an amazing singing voice, Cinderella gives a perfect performance but runs away when the clock strikes midnight and the magic runs out.
Chasing after her, Buttons tells Cinderella that singing has always been her thing – she doesn’t need magic to sing, she just needs to believe in herself. Turning back to the ball, Cinderella is once again thwarted by Darcy Dribble, who catches her in a football net and locks her away in a tower. The next day whilst Prince Brad searches for the missing singer, Cinderella uses her singing voice to help everyone find her! Finally, Darcy Dribble is halted in her trophy snatching attempts and Prince Brad can award the Mirror Ball Trophy to the rightful winner – Cinderella!
